KSA Driving Theory Practice

Unit 2: Road Users & Driver Duties

Unit 2 is about people: those you share the road with and your own responsibilities as a driver. It covers how to assess children, elderly people and other road users, how pedestrians should behave and how drivers must treat them, and what it means to drive safely, legally and with respect.

It also lists driver obligations and prohibitions, including fitness to drive, pre-drive checks, distractions and breakdown procedures. Further topics include seat belts and child seats, plus the right of way for emergency vehicles, school buses and official processions. Practising these questions helps you spot the situations where the handbook expects patience, courtesy and quick, safe decisions around vulnerable road users.
