Passengers & Seat Belts: Practice Questions

This topic covers carrying passengers safely. People may be carried only in vehicles and places intended for passengers, so the trunk, a truck bed or heavy machinery are not allowed. The driver and all passengers must wear seat belts, with exemptions only for documented health reasons or size. Children under 12 need a support (booster) belt so the belt fits correctly, children under 10 must not sit in the front seat, and each child should have their own safety seat. When stopping to let passengers out, they should leave from the right side onto the sidewalk.
